Sasha and Prim celebrate! Art by Pacha!

Happy August, all! I was awoken at 7AM this morning by the loudest thundercrash I’ve ever heard, seemingly coming from directly above my house. This was accompanied by a short, violent hailstorm of similar volume. August! Let’s get into the update!

Monstrous Liberation Work

We’re down, as they say, to “odds and sods” left to go on the Dryad Update. The total script wordcount is up past 18k, with maybe 2-3k left to go as I fill in a bit of remaining connective tissue and add a few fun extras. Similarly, Pacha has finished the art for the second major sex scene, and now just has a couple small fixes and the mini-scene art to complete. The update should be ready to go within the next few weeks! I’m consciously keeping this newsletter short so I can get back to writing the script because I’ve got some good momentum this week!

Tourney of Tyranny

Lilith makes eye contact with her best friend Gigi, prompting a reaction that surprises both of them! Art by Blueparikeet!

And the Dryad Update isn’t the ONLY thing that’s near completion this month! Blueparikeet sent me the final illustration for part 2 of Tourney of Tyranny earlier today, meaning that all that remains is for me to assemble everything together and release it! Look for that soon! And don’t forget that you can read a preview of the first part here or purchase the entire first part here! The second part will be over 10,000 words long, with 13 brand-new illustrations! It’s some of the best writing I’ve ever done, I think!

From The Blog

We’re nearing the end of our supply of new essays from the fourth issue of the Adult Analysis Anthology! Here’s everything that went up over the past month:

The Consumption Stumption

Playing: I’ve been borrowing my friend’s copy of Bandai Namco & Sora’s Kirby Air Riders and generally enjoying myself! I appreciate just how differently it plays from other racing games – whatever it is, it definitely ISN’T a Mario Kart or Need For Speed clone, and that alone is worth mention. It DOES feel kind of overly-chaotic at times – sometimes it’s hard to tell if I’m succeeding because I’m absolutely cracked at the game or because I just happened to get lucky. I also really hate that the quick-dash attack is inexorably mapped to a stick-wiggle when there are SO many free buttons it could’ve been mapped to. However, it’s very charming, the music’s great, and you get to kill God, so I can swallow my complaints.

A man & boy.

Playing 2: I will admit that my new media consumption has been somewhat curtailed this month due to all the work I’ve been doing on the Monstrous Liberation script, but there’s another reason – I’ve been fostering a likely-8-years-old foster cat. He’s a ginger tabby named Lewis and weighs a VERY solid six kilos, something you become very aware of when he’s standing directly on your tits demanding attention. Lewis is active and attentive and very sweet, to the point of being a little clingy. We’ve basically got him until we can get him his full geriatric panel (he’s moving into his autumn years) and a microchip, after which I’m pretty confident he’ll be adopted very quickly. He’s a great cat and I’m enjoying getting to look after him until he finds his forever home.

Wrapping Up

That does it for this update! Like I said above, I’m going to rush right back to writing once this newsletter is all cued-up. Thank you as ever to everyone who supports us, particularly on our Patreon and Subscribestar pages, and thank you for continuing to follow BP Games and enjoying the things we create!
